In today’s technology-driven world, we often find ourselves overstimulated and overly responsive. With a constant flow of information — both positive and negative — surrounding us, it’s easy to lose focus. Without conscious efforts like meditation or practices to recharge our physical and mental health, we can become volatile, intolerant, and overly reactive, which leads to stress, sorrow, and unhappiness.

If you analyze the entire process of how events influence us, you’ll notice that speech and thought act as the primary inputs to the human body — similar to input devices in a computer. These inputs are processed by the mind, which consists of two parts:

  1. Conscious Mind (like RAM): Handles short-term tasks like willpower, critical thinking, and logical processing but contributes only about 10% of the decision-making.
  2. Subconscious Mind (like HDD/SSD): This stores 90% of the data — formed by habits, beliefs, imagination, emotions, past experiences, and values. This data heavily influences how the mind processes situations and dictates behavior.

The mind communicates its processing to the brain, which governs your emotional state, and in turn, your body responds with actions and behaviors. The culmination of this process is what we see as “you” in any given situation — your ultimate output.

The crucial takeaway is that while we may not have direct control over our subconscious mind (as it has been shaped over time by previous inputs), we do have control over our inputs — our thoughts, words, and exposure.

To achieve the desired output — a happy and balanced life — you must focus on being conscious and deliberate with the inputs you allow into your mind. This awareness is the key to reprogramming your subconscious and creating the reality you dream of.

While supporting a friend in rebuilding their relationship, which had fallen apart a year ago due to hurtful words, behavior, and ego — despite the deep love they had for each other — I shared this advice with them. Today, they are happily reunited and living a joyful life together. Their story inspired me to share this with all of you, and I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Parents: Respect and cherish your parents, as they are your roots. Their experiences are valuable lessons, offering wisdom to guide your life.

Wife: Love and nurture your relationship with your wife. Share responsibilities, support each other’s dreams, and build a harmonious present together.

Children: Instill values and ethics in your children. Be their mentor, shaping their character while preparing them for a bright future.

Perspective on Time:

Parents represent the past: Whether you feel pride or regret, the past cannot be changed. Embrace the lessons it offers and honor their role in shaping you.

Your wife represents the present: She is your partner in this journey. Treasure the present moments, live them fully, and create joy together.

Your children represent the future: They are your legacy. Invest your time, wisdom, and care to ensure they grow into responsible and ethical individuals.

Happiness lies in balancing respect for the past, gratitude in the present, and hope for the future.
